Lady Butterfly has partnerships spread out throughout the whole Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Our focus is working with non-profit organizations and community leaders. As a way to promote and support local communities, we have based our location in the heart of a food desert.  Through our involvement with the community, we have garnered attention from local charities, women shelters, and food banks.

Community Event #1

Earth Day- April 2019

Celebrating Earth Day with

The Leadership Academy at

Maude I Logan

With the help of County Commissioner Brooks, we were able to bring elementary students to Lady Butterfly to participate in the "national teach-in on the environment" day that was started by Senator Gaylord Nelson back in the 1970. With the leadership of Principal Moore, students were able to partake in assisting in cleaning up the environment.

Community Event #2

May 27, 2021

Nothing like bringing in the spring season like a school field trip.

In partnership with Ben Travis, a member of Community Frontline of Fort Worth, we were able to accommodate a field trip of over 80 students from Keller ISD.  Students were able to learn about the compos box & soil preparation that was part of a lesson plan designed by their teachers and Lady Butterfly.  Bringing students closer to nature with the intention of promoting hands on learning.
